High Demand for HE

Demand for high level skills is particularly high in the city and surrounding areas with manufacturing, aerospace, health care and educational professions requiring highly educated and skilled individuals. To respond to this demand we have developed locally available opportunities for progression into Higher Education for employees seeking career advancement or as part of a company's long term workforce development plan. New Foundation Degrees have been developed in direct response to key employers demands and mainly for part-time modes of attendance, while the development of our existing Higher National provision will continue to respond to employers needs.
